 Born and raised in Canton, Ohio (home of the Pro Football Hall of Fame), Rupe started DJing in Ohio in 1980. He moved to Ocean City in 1982 after knee and wrist injuries cut a possible baseball career short as a catcher. In 1983, Rupe started DJing in Ocean City and has been a staple in the region for 3 decades! DJ Rupe can be found playing, Reggae, Buffett, Beach Party Music, Motown, Modern Rock, Classic Rock, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, Dance, Old School Dance and New Dance Music.

"Summer In The City!" is our fun new musical stage production for the 2014 summer season.  It’s a great new OC Jamboree production that’s sure to be a highlight of your trip to Ocean City!
 
Settle into those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer.  Come feel the beat of the rhythm in the heat of a summer night.  National Top 100 Country Recording Artist Dave Weatherholtz once again hosts an All Star Cast that includes Sharon Sorrentino,  Sean McNelis and Charlie Sorrentino.  Join us for this great new show that gives tribute to some of your all time favorite music of the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s.  In the tradition of OC Jamboree summer productions, "Summer In The City!" promises to be a foot tappin’, finger snappin’, belly laughin’ good time.  
 
Young and old alike will find themselves singing along with our mini tribute to those great hit songs of the
British Invasion.  Audiences of all ages will continue to be amazed by the spellbinding wizardry of illusionist/magicians Harry Edwards and Charlie Sorrentino.  So don’t let the solid gold, summer hit parade pass you by.  Pack up the entire family and head to the beach this summer, then sit back, relax, put up the beach umbrella, throw on the Coppertone, tune in your old transistor radio to The OC Jamboree and get ready to sing along!

Rew Smith at Seacrets @ Seacrets

  With his addictive melodies, a soulful vocal style and an off-the-beaten-path kind of pop-sensibility, Smith is quickly gaining formidable momentum towards becoming a major national act. He has shared the stage with My Chemical Romance, The Used, Thrice, Story of the Year, The Bouncing Souls, The Pietasters, The Heartless Bastards, Eric Hutchinson, Virginia Coalition, two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Whalen (Good Morning America, Oprah Winfrey, Inside Edition) and most recently, Graham Colton. Having previously been the front man for the Maryland-based bands Plan B, Truesetto and The Making, he made his solo debut in April of 2008 with the release of his EP, ‘Sweet, Sweet Nothing,’ mixed by Drew Mazurek (Linkin Park, HIM).
